Klein High School

Teaming up with Klein Independent School District and Tellepsen Builders, Pieper worked for three years on this 3-phase project. Klein High School in Klein, Texas, presented a unique challenge for everyone involved. Not only was the new high school built on the existing campus, but the school remained fully operational throughout construction. Pieper also took special care to coordinate with the general contractor and other subcontractors to keep the project within budget and on schedule.

The campus consists of three multiple-story buildings, totaling approximately 780,000 sq .ft. The space includes classrooms, science and computer labs, administrative offices, kitchen and dining areas, an auditorium, a natatorium, competition gyms, and shop areas.

During phase one, Pieper installed the underground conduits for the (3) 4000 amp, services and distribution to each building. Our responsibilities included lighting, power, and systems for fire alarms, local sound, data and school communications. The new and improved Klein High School was completed in 2014.
