Adding to the Pieper Family

Time Flies When You're Surrounded by Great People

June is upon us and the beautiful weather we have enjoyed is quickly becoming our normal Texas summer. Find an iced tea, a cool glass of lemonade or your favorite adult toddy and stay in the shade. The children are out of school, and the summer rush is here. WOW, the time goes fast!

I look back on the first half of 2011 and think of all the blessings we in the Houston marketplace have enjoyed in comparison to the rest of the country, and my heart goes out to them. If this is the best market in the country, I am happy to say I am glad we are from Texas with even more gusto than ever!
Pieper has been blessed with the best employees in the world — our 'Pieper Players' — and together we continue to serve the best clients in the world with the best engineering, service and craftsmanship that can be achieved.

We have continued to add talent to our team to better serve our clients. Our goal of expanding the service department is being realized with a strong new service division director, Mr. Jeff Hisaw, and our accounting department has been strengthened with the addition of Mrs. Debbie Savage. Our estimating department received a boost with the addition of Mr. Justin Hand.

These individuals came looking for a new home, one of compassion, fairness and family. I am excited to be able to offer them just that. We call it the 'Pieper Advantage.' I believe that your work should be a place of joy, excitement, fellowship and friendship and a place of authenticity, where people act, speak and treat each other with respect and courtesy. If I enjoy my job, my work is naturally going to be better.
We're excited for Jeff, Debbie and Justin to join the Pieper family and work with you to help you achieve your goals. Because as always, we're with you every step of the way.

Blessings for the summer,
G.W. Bud Walters

Making Strides On Course At:
Whispering Pines

Voted as the No. 1 golf course in Texas for the past five years by the Dallas Morning News, Whispering Pines Golf Club, is constructing a new, high-end private residence and lake house in Trinity, Texas.

The 25,000 sq. ft. 2 1/2 story main house will feature a swimming pool with waterfall features, and the 1,400 sq. ft. lake house will consist of exterior decks and pavers, a lakeshore bulkhead and a new boat house. The project requires careful planning so that the golf course and landscaping are kept in excellent condition and members are not distracted during construction.

Pieper's responsibilities include designing and developing engineered electrical drawings to meet the project's electrical requirements, as well as all electrical infrastructure duct banks. Pieper will also coordinate with the local utility company to add and relocate primary electrical service, perform all electrical installation and handle the lighting control system.

We're excited to work with everyone involved!

Strap On Your Hiking Boots and Gear Up for Summer Camp!
Boy Scouts of America Thanks Pieper:

The Sam Houston Area Council sincerely appreciates your help in the procurement of electrical materials for the construction and the making of The Carole and Jim Hooke Equestrian Center for the 2011 Summer Camp Season at El Rancho Cima.

This state-of-the-art facility will not only host six to eight classrooms for teaching merit badges at Walter Scout Camp at Horseshoe Bend, but will be the campfire site for the weekly scouting experience. Imagine all this in an Equestrian Center that enhances our Texas heritage and the Scout's experience at Walter Scout Camp at Horseshoe Bend.

Thank you for your support and help in making it possible for this wonderful facility to be built and completed on time, to impact the lives of thousands of young people.

On behalf of the Construction Committee we salute you.

Yours in Scouting,
Bob Bunning, Chairman Construction Committee
