City of Houston Central Permitting Center The professionals at Pieper love a challenge, and the city of Houston Central Permitting Center is exactly that! The four-story building, which was constructed in the early 1900s, is undergoing a complete renovation. Everything from the original columns to the brick is being restored. Project Formen Reggie Comer and Anthony Lara teamed up with Project Manager Reno Luxardo to install electrical and fire alarm systems while maintaining the architectural integrity of the building. The main challenge is installing cable the old-fashioned way, beneath a computer raised floor. The team will complete the project in May. Your employees handled the ever-changing scope of the project, providing accurate costing for the early design phases and then completing the construction with minimal change orders.
