A word from our clients:
I wanted to take this opportunity to reflect on what we all accomplished on the Turner Stadium Project and to thank all of you for your performance. We met our August 20th completion date and the first football games were held this past weekend without major issues. When we began planning this project last year, it was a little scary to think we were going to tear the home stands down in November; put half of it back together for a major regional track meet in May and hand it all over to HISD in August. FYI --we had several of our competitors telling HISD that it could not be done as we planned. Well, we proved them wrong despite all the weather--- we prevailed. All of you can take pride in a job well done. From my end, I have done major projects at Spring HS; Conroe; Deer Park, etc. but this one has been the most satisfying to date.

I hope to work with all of you in the very near future.

Featured Project: Tellepsen Family Downtown YMCA

The grand opening of the newly completed Tellepsen Family Downtown YMCA is set for October 4, 2010. The 200,000 sq. ft. facility will replace the 67-year-old existing building a block away, featuring more work out space, more amenities and increased parking.

Playing a key role in the development, Pieper-Houston Electric's design-build engineering teams worked with Tellepsen to meet a tight construction schedule. The time between Pieper's initial design to the issue-for-permitting construction drawings was just 2 short months. The team issued the super structure first so the foundation and underground work could begin. For the interior design, Pieper imbedded all conduit in the concrete to create an ascetically pleasing finish that emphasized the perforated ceilings.
